IB data does not populate chart

    IB data does not populate chart

    Have to restart NT multiple times to get it working. Says "loading data" and then hangs. Once hung while saying "saving". SuperDom works. Some charts work, but can't change the time frame or instrument with the mouse as commands do not respond.

    I am tired of this stuff already... whats up?

    Hi,

    Have you tried repairing your database? Go to Tools--> Options--> Misc--> Repair DB.

    If that doesn't work, close the application and go to the windows control panel under add/remove programs. Locate NinjaTrader and click Change--> Repair.

      Followup information of value...

      It turns out the intermittent non-loading of charts was caused by my IPS Cablevision/Optonline. Apparently they assigned something to the port that IB's TWS was using... As soon as IB mentioned there were many people complaining from the Optonline service area and that it was being fixed, the problem went away.

      Thought you might put this info in your help desk data base....
