Changing defult sounds in NJ

I have tried to change the default sounds (order, connection etc) and every time I remove the unwanted sounds it keeps reinstalling back on startup of NJ.

Is there any way to remove the sounds or disable them?

Do I need to edit my own, rename them and put it in sound folder to have custom sounds?

I really dislike the tone of the voice of lady who recorded the dialogs, it makes me nervous. The gun shot alert is ridiculous and makes me jump out of my chair. I have my own relaxed alert sounds and don't need any extra stress while trading.

Thank you for your post.

You can disable the sounds by going to: Tools>Options>General tab and unchecking the sounds that you want to disable.

You can remove the order confirmation on the same General tab by unchecking Confirm order placement.

Replacing the sound files is not officially supported.
