Simultaneous data feeds

I apologize if this has been asked before, I saw some older threads but with no clarity.

I have always used the IB TWS API for my Ninja data, recently I had to add IQ feed just to access futures data.

How do I configure Ninja to go about its normal dataloading from IB, but load a few select tickers from IQFeed?

Thank you for your post,

When using multiple connections within NInjaTrader, the data request will only go to the section connection if the request fails on the first connection for the whole instrument class (futures, forex, ect).

So because IB offers the same instrument classes as IQ Feed, the data request does not fail so only the first connection will send data. See the below section of our help guide for more on managing multiple connections in NinjaTrader 7.

As a note, our beta product NinjaTrader 8 does offer a more flexible method for managing multiple connections, though this still is done via instrument classes rather than individual instruments.
