    Not Loading December Contracts Data to Charts

    Hi

    None of the data for the December YM, ES, or NQ contracts is loading into the charts as of Friday. I do see the proper data in the SuperDOM, but not in the charts. The September contracts data is okay, but not the December data. I reloaded all historical data, repaired the database, etc. No help. This was the case all day Friday and the charts still aren't displaying this data. Thanks.

    Thanks for your post.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20160911.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20160911.txt"

        same problem here, ninja charts are way out of line with esignal charts on the ES

            You guys are right. After looking again it's not loading the data correctly. I have to go but will check back in later. Thanks.

              i had the same problem on Friday, the December chart was a mess, even after multiple reloads. I ended up trading the September, but on Monday that will be a less viable solution as open interest rolls more into the December contract
              The December 6J contract is also a mess right now, although the September 6J is fine.
              There is something wrong with the December contract data throughout the instruments.

                the price is the same as esignal, but the ninja chart closes at 2120.50 and opens at 2115.25, whereas the close should have been 2114.50 and the open the same.

                  I had to manually change the roll date for ES to 9-8-2016 in the instruments menu, then everything loaded correctly. You can check to see whether your broker is actually downloading data in the historical data panel. Mine was downloading the data so I knew the roll date was wrong.

                        Thanks for your post.

                        This rollover change item is a known item for ES, YM, NQ, and TF. The rollover dates for these contracts will need to be manually configured in your NinjaTrader database. Please click the link below for details:



                        The reason this also occurred with 6J is likely due to the fact that it is not set to rollover until the 16th. Changing that rollover date would allow for the 12-16 to be used beforehand.
