Making Stop Loss and Profit Targets "Gtc"

    Hi there,

The trades I place within NT get routed to Interactive Brokers. I would like all my pending orders to be "DAY". For example if I place a buy stop order at $10 and price during regular trading hours never drops below $12 then I want my buy stop order to expire. I believe I have this working as in my ATM I have "DAY" selected and equally I see that it is "DAY" in Trader Workstation (Interactive Brokers).

Here is the problem - the STOP and TARGET orders submitted as part of my NinjaTrader ATM are also submitted as "DAY" orders. What I am worried about is since I plan to hold this position over night... I'm worried that my STOP and PROFIT TARGET orders will get cancelled automatically.

Could anyone please advise how I make my STOP and TARGET orders get routed as "Gtc"? Even in the control centre they appear as "Day"

The attached ATM strategy will take on whatever TIF setting your entry order has. For example, if you submit your entry order as DAY, then when the stop and target is submitted it will also have a TIF of DAY. There is no way to submit your ATM orders with a different TIF than your entry order.
