Ninjatrader is closing out trades on its own

I just started trying to learn the Ninjatrader code and setting up a strategy using the wizard, i have been just trying out different things to see what they would all do...my question is, is there some sort of default "safe" code built in that automatically closes out a trade after a certain amount of "loss"? (I'm only using historical data) B/c in my strategy i have only one condition on which it can exit a short (which is all i've been looking at) and I am using no stop loss, to help me c where this condition is met i have the bar painted yellow...well if the program has only one exit short command and it's at a yellow bar then why do i have several "Exit on close" positions on my graph that are not at yellow bars? I uploaded a screenshot to hopefully clarify any confusion on what i said.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!

By default a strategy will be set to "Exit On Close", this refers to closing all strategy trades/positions at the end of a session as defined by the session template used in the instrument.

The Exit On Close setting can be found in the strategy panel when you apply the strategy to a chart. It is in the "Order Handling" section of parameters. When "Exit On Close" is set to true then the "Exit on close seconds" is used to have the strategy exit x seconds before the end of the session.

Awesome, thx so much for the help...i figured it was something simple like that but google turned up nothing and i didn't know exactly what i was looking for...thx again!
