Compile error

Hello,

When I attempt to compile a new custom indicator, I get a CS0103 error about a name that is not even specified in the code. I get the exact same error if I try to recompile another custom indicator that used to be ok. It seems like Ninjatrader is corrupted or something. What to do?

So that we can assist further please provide a screenshot of the full error message you are receiving.
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

It looks like the issue is gone. I noticed that the error was referring to a strategy (not an indicator) that was not completed properly. I didn't need the strategy so deleted it and problem is gone since. Still don't know why the strategy was creating a compile error while I was editing an indicator but it is no more an issue for now.

When you compile and indicator or strategy in NinjaTrader it compiles all indicators and strategies - not just one. This is done to give you the highest runtime performance possible.
