Hello,
We have a short description listed in the helpguide here: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...ghtsub=liberal
To really understand the fill types in more detail, you could also review the code used for the filltype by viewing either of the following files:
Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type\@DefaultFillType.cs
Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type\@LiberalFillType.cs
I look forward to being of further assistance.

Hello,
so is it maybe something like ... 'liberal' means the price has only to be touched, and only once, for the order to be filled?Default
• Limit orders only fill if the limit price was penetrated
Liberal
• Limit orders fill if the limit price was touched
The price would only need to Touch the limits price for the fill to occur with Liberal, whereas the Default would need to penetrate the price for the fill to occur.
I look forward to being of further assistance.
