Export Tick Data

Hello,

When exporting EURUSD tick data I'm interested in what the volume represents.

To me it looks like the actual numbers are a bit low for the daily traded volume.

Maybe I'm missing something, but can someone eloborate on this a little?

Hello Gunnar,

Please be aware that volume data for forex instruments is not considered that useful because it is not traded on a centralized exchange. It depends on what data feed/broker you connect in NinjaTrader how volume data for forex instruments is loaded. The volume numbers you see in the .txt file were loaded this way in the NinjaTrader platform and therefore export this way. I assume you see the same volume numbers if you check Control Center-->Tools-->Historical Data Manager-->Edit-tab.
