    CFD data limited to current yearly candle on FXCM demo

    Hi. I need some CFD (JPN225, GER30, SPX500) history on my Ninjatrader/FXCM data feed; it's limited to the current yearly candle. I've already tried entering custom ranges/back dates and reloading historical data but no results. It starts loading data only from July 11 2016 to be exact. Data is working in real time. Ninjatrader 8 64bit BETA and FXCM.uk demo.

    I suspect the limited CFD data is coming from the historical Ninjatrader servers. When I disable that it says error on requesting bar series... invalid request instrument not found.

    *update* I just saw a post where Ninjatrader 8 CFD back data is much more limited than 7 so I guess I'm going to revert.

    uSER1, thanks for your first post!

    I tested this on my end and tested the differences between historical data of CFDs on NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 and saw that NinjaTrader 7 had more stored data for CFDs.

    When I had disabled the historical data and had adjusted the connection to FXCM's servers, I saw a lot of data provided for CFDs on NinjaTrader 7 but saw that NinjaTrader 8 received an error message.

    I have forwarded a bug report to our QA team for further analysis on the FXCM connection and CFDs.

    I will update this thread once I find out more information.

        I just need a little more information so that I can investigate this further.

        Is your FXCM connection a demo or a live account?
        Did you open the live account inside or outside the US?
