Level II with Interactive Brokers?

Hi,

I am connected to Interactive Brokers. I opened a Level II window and changed the symbol to AAPL. I am getting the info in the first row (bid, ask, etc.) but nothing else. Does this work with IB? Do I need to configure something else?

I can also connect to tradestation. If IB doesn't work, will TS work?

I have attached a screen shot of the available Level II information for AAPL when connected to IB. If you are receiving the same information then you are setup correctly.

You cannot receive Level II from Tradestation.

Thanks. That is what I'm getting. What brokers get the additional info shown in the Ninja manual page?

This depends on the connectivity provider the broker uses; the connectivity provider needs to support Level II data. I suggest to contact the broker regarding this question to see if their connectivity provider supports Level II data.

Whats the point of that you may as well just use the super Dom or am I missing something (I dont trade stocks)

There was only data displayed in the first row, because there was no market depth depth avalaible for stocks with IB in order to display the additional data.

In that case, you are correct, it will not provide additional value to use the Level II window.
