Attach big timeframe channel to a fast chart

Hello

When I draw a channel or trendline on a big timeframe chart (i.e. 60 minutes) it would only show properly on a smal timeframe chart (i.e. 150 ticks) if I load up enough days of data. Is it possible to only load 3 days of data on a small timeframe and have a big timeframe channel appear properly?

I hope the question is clear.

Unfortunately, no, there isn't a method do get the lines to plot on the lower time frame without requesting more historical data. Because the lines use the older data, it's needed to show the lines on the smaller time frame charts.`

Loading a few weeks of data on a small timeframe chart is slowing it down.

Last question: I assume NT is caching data properly, but it takes few minutes for charts to re-appear after a restart. Is NT caching charts indicators calculations or re-calculating every time?

Thank you for your reply, the indicator calculations are not an item that is cached. If possible, limiting the amount of days the indicators are using to calculate can help improve performance their performance.
