Accidentally deleted Custom Instrument List

I have accidentally deleted a custom Instrument list that I had set up, using the Instrument Manager. The list had hundreds of securities . After deleting it however, I still am able to call up securities that were in this list and nowhere else. My questions/issues are:
1. What does deleting an Instrument list actually do? Does it delete the underlying securities?
2. If I was to reimport the Instrument list then what would happen to the securities that were previously in that list? Would they be duplicated?
3. I have a copy of the entire Ninjatrader7 folder but it was taking forever to restore it. Where was this instrument list stored so I can selectively restore what I have deleted?

Hello GlennL,

An instrument list is a customizable list of instruments. This sounds redundant but is literal.
This makes it easy to select or add multiple instruments at the same time.

Deleting an instrument list does not delete the instruments.
Instruments can be in multiple instrument lists.

The instruments in the list do not need to be re-imported. You would instead just make a new instrument list.

Adding an instrument that already exists will be ignored as it already exists.

Custom instrument lists are stored in the NinjaTrader database. Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\NinjaTrader.sdf.
