Bad Data on New Contracts

Hello,

When switching from the current contract period to the next, I often (but not always) get a false "jump" in the price data. I've attached a picture of what it looks like. I have tried deleting the contract data and reloading it, but the problem persists.

The jump occurs on the first tick of incoming data after the chart is opened. My data provider is Kinetick. Any idea how to fix this?

Hello Elynt,

Thanks for writing in.

The GC doesn't rollover in NinjaTrader until the 29th. If you want to rollover before that and continue to merge past contracts, you will need to adjust the rollover date.

If you do not want your charts to merge back past contracts, you can change your merge policy to Do Not Merge under Tools> Options> Data
