Connect to IB Gateway

I cannot run my strategy against my IB-account, since TWS automatically shuts down each day and has to be reconnected. Apparently, IB-Gateway doesnt need to be restarted every day. But how can I connect NJ7 to IB-Gateway?

Please note that IB Gateway is not officially supported with NinjaTrader 7, however some of our clients have successfully connected NinjaTrader 7 with IB Gateway. You can refer to this YouTube video to know more.

Is IB Gateway supported by NJ8 ?

Yes, IB Gateway is supported in NinjaTrader 8. Please see the Interactive Brokers connection guide at the link below.

Are you able to access the IB connection guide if you go to the main NinjaTrader website and click "Connection & Help Guides" at the bottom under HELP. Subsequently click "View More" under "Connection Guides' and then click "Interactive Brokers"?
