Memory problems

I put a significant load on Memory by running multiple MA windows using tick data across 80 instruments.

Could you explain exactly how the NT program uses memory and how I can best avoid the continual crashes that I suffer. It seems that by carefully following various sequences of loading data from the database and then from my data source (esignal) seems to help (sometimes), but this really is rather 'hit or miss'!

I've gone as far as I can go with the hardware, and remain at the limitations of NT being 32 bit and only able to use a small amount of the available memory in the server.

Are there any plans to offer a 64 bit version?

NT7 will be optimized in the area of memory management relative to loading bar series. For now, tick data across 80 instrumenst for sure will tax your memory --> Reduce the max bars back required in the MA or reduce the number of instruments. This is the only solution at this time.
