How do I show ETH data on a Daily Chart?

Does anyone know how I get my daily chart to show ETH data.

For example, I have a daily CL chart which only shows bars with an open/close matching the RTH. No matter which session template I use I cant get it to show an open/close matching the ETH. As result by daily bar chart has numerous gaps.

I also have same problem with my ES charts.
I would also like to know if its better to use a Daily bar chart or 1440m chart?

Hello Steve,

Daily data is loaded as per the OHLC values received from the connected data feed/broker. Please note that session templates do not have effect on daily charts. You could use a 1440 Minute chart as workaround.

Even when 1440m chart is used the daily data is still loaded from the data provider's exchange settlement prices. How can we make sure that the Daily bars will respect the values displayed on the 1440m chart as the OHLC of the designated session, and not the daily settlement values provided by the data provider ?..

Hello Vispilio,

Daily data is loaded as per the OHLC values from the connected data feed/broker. Unfortunately there is no setting in NinjaTrader that will change this. Daily and minute data is stored separately - you cannot mix them.

You could manually edit the Close price for historical daily data in the Historical Data Manager-->Edit-tab. Please see the link below for instructions.
