Hi,

I am having an error while trying to connect to Yahoo for downloading EOD data for these symbols in NT:

List:
ALSTOMT&D.NS
COX&KINGS.NS
IL&FSTRANS.NS
J&KBANK.NS
L&TFH.NS
M&M.NS
M&MFIN.NS
BAJAJ-AUTO.NS
HCL-INSYS.NS
MCDOWELL-N.NS

These are the symbols for NSE (India). I have tried to manually add the symbols in the Instrument Manager but it shows an error 'Error on loading chart data for 'BAJAJAUTO.NS Default': Invalid Symbol Trading in NSE'

Is there any workaround this problem. I am using NT 7.0.1000.31?

I have tested a few of the stocks you have listed and I was able to receive data for M&M.NS and COX&KINGS.NS. I was unable to receive data for BAJAJ-AUTO.NS and ALSTOMT&D.NS.
After reviewing the setup of how you created these stocks I can confirm you have created the stocks correctly. The issue is Yahoo does not provide daily data for these stocks. I would recommend creating the rest of the instruments and testing if you can receive daily data due to some of the stocks working correctly and some are not.

Thanks for the quick reply. So apart from these symbols, it seems that all others in the NSE500 index are being loaded from Yahoo servers:

ALSTOMT&D.NS
BAJAJ-AUTO.NS
HCL-INSYS.NS
MCDOWELL-N.NS

I also wanted to ask that while trying to fetch the symbols with special characters from Google, why did I got the same error message? Is it that Google is not providing data for these as well? The symbols like M&M which worked in Yahoo are not working in Google.

I have searched for these instruments within the publicly found https://www.google.com/finance I was unable to load any data other than initial quotes. This data is not supported as well.
