IB Gateway Connection

I am trying to connect IB Gateway to NT7. I have the TWS connecting fine, but having problems with the IB Gateway. I am getting an error: Login failed: IB.adapter.startTws: cant find registry key 'Trader Workstation'

I have closed both applications and then opened the IB gateway first and then the NT7. But this did not get it going.

Thanks for your post.
IB Gateway is not supported with NinjaTrader 7, however there are some users that use this.
NinjaTrader 8 will support IB Gateway.
I would not be able to provide support for this unsupported set up in NinjaTrader 7 however.
