    Email not working

    Hi

    I am trying to set up my email in the platform.

    I have tried port number 587 but I got a 5.5.1 authentication error so tried a couple of others that people had used in the forums none worked but 25 gave me a 'failed to send mail. failure to send mail'

    How do I get my email working within ninja?

    Hello Caroline,

    Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and enter information in the 'Mail setup' fields for the email provider you use. Please see the forum thread at the link below.
    Below is a list of known e-mail settings and information demonstrating configuring e-mail alerts within NinjaTrader. Included are settings which have been tested with basic accounts. Please ensure that your settings are configured identically to those included, as some only use the beginning of the e-mail address and do not


    Make sure you click OK after you entered the information in the Options-->Misc-tab or else it will not work. After you clicked OK, please open the Options-->Misc-tab again and check if you can submit a test email successful.
