    NT7 offset roll

I manually set my offset roll for ES contract to -9 after the roll occurred. Today I checked it and it says -9.25. How did it automatically switch back to -9.25?? I missed a trade today because of this.

    Hello habibalex,
    Thanks for your post.
See below from the help guide.
Note: If you inputted your own Offset value, it will be overwritten by values downloaded from the data server if it exists there. To prevent this you will need to ensure that your rollover date is not the same as the ones coming from the data server.
Below I have provided a link to the Understanding the Misc tab - Offset Value section of the help guide.

If i change the rollover date, when will the roll actually occur in the data? I want it to roll on the same date.

          Hello habibalex,
          Thanks for your reply.
If you adjust the rollover date, it will rollover on that date.
Rollover is calculated by looking at the difference in the close prices of the previous and current contract at the end of the session the day before rollover.

That is not the correct way of doing it. CME publishes their official settlement prices of the various contracts everyday, that is the price that should be adjusted to. On the day before rollover it was -9pts

              Hello habibalex,
              Thanks for your reply.
Different platforms and data providers will do this in different formats. There isn't a correct way. I will forward your feedback to development however to take into consideration.
