Bulk Upload rollovers

Hi,

I have have a list of rollover dates in CSV, or TXT, for a list of futures
is there a way to 'upload' this list of historical rollover dates to Properties > Contract Months > Edit Rollovers(and effectively over write the dates that are already in there).

I am looking for ways to avoid doing this manually for products.
Looks a like a rollover date can be 'called' but not uploaded ?
Are these stored somwhere ? A file that can be amended or overwritten perhaps ?

Hello aavevo,

No, NinjaTrader does not have a function to import expiry dates into an instruments settings from a file.

However, NinjaTrader 8 has been designed to be able to download these dates as needed at the click of a button (without needing to update NinjaTrader and reset instruments).

I am using NT8.
Download these dates from where exactly ?
I have my dates, i know what dates in want in those fields. (in excel/csv/txt)
What button are you referring to ? Can you provide any detail ?

Thank you for your response.

Chelsea refers to the automatic download available within the Tools > Database window to Update Future Expiries. This would not offer an option to import your own rollovers, you would still need to do this manually.
