NT running in VirtualBox virtual machine - connect to data provider on host?

I've got NT running on Windows in a VirtualBox virtual machine. Host is Ubuntu (Linux). Since IB Trader Workstation has a Linux native client, I'd like to use that instead of running TWS in the virtual machine. Is it possible to connect NT on guest machine to TWS on host machine?

    Hello dolomite,
    Thanks for your post.
Linux is not supported. This setup is unsupported and untested. I could not say if you would be able to get this to work.

If you put the Virtual NIC into "bridged" mode, you might be able to do that. Remember that "bridged" mode breaks the network isolation of your VM.
