custom bar type deletion

A newly installed custom bar type ended up deleting another custom bar. How do I delete the newly installed bar so I can recover the original one? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your post.

Most likely these bars are using the same custom slot.

If the new bar type was installed as part of a package you would need to remove it by File>Utilities>Remove Ninjascript assembly which will display a list of all installed assemblies, from there would you chose what you just installed to correctly remove it. You would then need to restart Ninjatrader.

If the bar type was not part of a 3rd party package then you should be able to go to Documents>NinjaTrader7>bin>Custom>type In the type folder would be the source code for the bar type (like filename.cs) . You would need to remove the file from that folder. Next edit an indicator and recompile it and restart Ninjatrader. You may need to do that twice (edit/recompile/restart).
