Charts Not Updating

Hi I have Ninjatrader 7 and it seems to connect ok to my demo account, I get a chart up for futures emini s&p and the chart has all the previous data but does not continue to update.. I have to disconnect and then reconnect and it gives be the updated data but does not continue to show me whats happening in the market. I also am not able to do an order.

It would be expected that you would not be able to place orders to the ES today as the CME is in a halt do to the holiday. Please let us know if you do not receive live data or are unable to place orders after the CME resumes at 5:00PM Central Time.

So I tried to connect again and it is still not giving me a live feed. I also still cannot place an order.
