Can Strategy Wizard be used to call ATM strategy

Couple of questions:
1) Would like to use Strategy Wizard to enter order and then turn the order management over to an ATM strategy. Is that possible? Doesn't appear to be.
2) Assuming once order is entered using wizard strategy, is there a technique to do similar stop management as the ATM breakeven function. Have tried using internal variable to set stop loss price but does not appear to work. Have also tried manually moving stops but they just reset to original values on the start of the next bar.
3) Also, if I manually flatten the order it appears that the strategy no longer works (no entry on next entry signal). Is that correct.

Thanks for your post.

1) The strategy wizard would not be able to create a strategy that uses ATMs.
2) We do have an example of a breakeven strategy with the wizard and I have attached it in this response. It is an example only and demonstrates entering and exiting a long trade.
3) Correct, when you flatten or close a position on the instrument, the strategy will automatically disable. You would need to re-enable the strategy.

If you would like to create a strategy that provides the entry order but have an ATM manage the exits, you can work directly in Ninjascript to accomplish this. You already have an example strategy in your NinjaTrader called SampleAtmStrategy that you can examine and test. Please be sure to read the notes inside the source file for requirements for running the strategy (access via Tools>editNinjascript>strategy)
