The first reply by koganam would be correct in this matter. Reinstalling NinjaTrader would not change your Machine ID. This can be prompted by many things, such as hardware changes, operating system re-installation, or registry changes.

If your NT folder is erased and you had created a user ID for any 3rd party indicators you will have to do that again.

Hi all.

There's a possibility that I may have to re-install NinjaTrader 7.

Is there an Uninstall program to be run for NinjaTrader?

If not, what would be the recommended procedure to make sure that everything related to NinjaTrader is removed before performing a clean re-install?

Thanks for posting.

There would not be an application made specifically to remove NinjaTrader from your PC, but this can be done like most other programs in Windows.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. Please note these steps will remove all your workspaces, templates, configuration settings, historical trade information, etc.

1. Close all running applications.
2. Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
3. Then manually delete the folder 'NinjaTrader 7' located under Start> My Documents.
4. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. (This can be done by going to Start> My Computer> Search button> search for: NinjaTrader* > select Local C Disk and then press 'Search'. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
5. Reboot your machine.
6. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below.

Actually you shouldn't delete the folder Ninjatrader 7 after removing the program from control panel. The correct way would be to rename the old ninjatrader 7 folder something else then reinstall ninjatrader 7. I have just done this and NT7 works perfectly again.
