IB data feed

Hi,
I connecting to IB (paper account) but after it successfully connects there is still no data in the DOM. When I open a chart it says "Error: historical market data service error: No market data permissions for GLOBEX FUT". Am I getting this error because I haven't subscribed to any data feeds from IB?

Thanks for posting today.

You are correct in this matter, this error would imply that you are not enabled for Globex Futures with Interactive Brokers. If you have not subscribed to any data feeds with IB, this would be an expected error until you are subscribed to the data you are requesting.

Is it possible to use a different data provider like kinetick with IB? Or do I have to subscribe to a data feed directly from IB in order to trade?
