NT 8.0.10 onapidisconnected error

I used to be able to connect to IB TWS 954 paper account, but I'm no longer able to due to 'onapidisconnected' error. Any ideas?

Sorry for the long wait.

I decided to revert back to the original TWS API setting to accept incoming connection. Initially, I had set in TWS to reject incoming connection for security reasons, thinking that NT local host IP setting would allow me to connect to TWS as long as I specified a trusted IP in TWS. I think my incorrect logic was the cause for this error. It might not be a software issue after all. What do you think?

I think you've definitely figured out what was occurring. If you do not set your TWS settings exactly as is mentioned in the connection guide it can cause issues.
