2 or more symbols linking

Hi

I know this has been asked before, but my reason for asking is that I understand we will be able to link 2 or more symbols in various ways in NT version 7? I know you guys are working hard in building v7 and are trying to keep up with all the requests, but coul dyou clarify whether I have got this right? (I'm just trying to "plan ahead" to be honest - it woul dbe great if you could say for sure if this is coming soon).

And I understand v7 will prob not be release until late 2008/early 2009... have I got this right too?

What do you mean by 2 or more symbols linking? NT7 beta is targeted towards end of year.

For example, spread charts like ratios and such (eg: Symbol 1 - Symbol 2 or 2*Symbol 1 / Symbol 2) etc...

Thanks for the clarification.

What I can say we will support is -

- Multi-series charts (mixed instruments and time frames)
- Multi-series indicators (mixed instruments and time frames)

The latter woud allow you to write an indicator that performs custom calculations on multiple instruments (to generate a spread value) and then plot this on a chart. You will not be able to plot this as a bar style, just as an indicator plot.
