15 Sec Historial Data for IB

When I load a 15 sec chart I do not get historical data. I'm using IB data fead. When I load a 15 sec chart using TWS I do get historical data so it is available. What am I doing wrong?

Interactive Brokers does not supply historical tick data into NinjaTrader

Tick data is used for second charts

You can save incoming real time data to your PC to be used as historical data later

To do this go to the Control Center > Tool > Options > Data tab, check the box 'Save chart data as historical' and press OK

Kinetick provides 180 days of unfiltered historical tick data for all supported instruments. This will allow you to create tick-based charts that backfill up to 180 days back from the current date and backtest strategies on a tick-by-tick level of granularity.

Kinetick's real-time data is also completely unfiltered from the so you will receive every single tick that the exchange reports.

I've got a full days worth of 15 sec data displayed for two symbols. Is this data automatically saved some place or if not can it be saved? I do not what to close these charts for fear of loosing the data.

The option that ChristopherS supplied where you check the to Save chart data as historical will save the data that you have. For the data to save, you must be connected to IB. When you open new charts, the data should appear.
