Ninja/zenfire freeze on volume spikes

Hi Support,

I am noticing Ninja/zenfire freeze for like 1/2 a sec to 2 seconds when there is a volume spike. Noticed at 10:00 am and 10:34 am EST this morning on volume spikes in ES and NQ. I am on latest 6.5.1000.4 ninja version.

I know a few fellow traders for whom it happened the same way of freeze on volume spikes in ninja/zenfire.

Ninja was fine before I upgraded to the 6.5.1000.4. Is this like a bug in 6.5.1000.4 that could be fixed.

We'll touch base with Zen support to see what could be done.

Note: "Freezes" could happen as
a) many ticks come in the same time
b) you have a lot of tick-driven activity going on (see e.g. performance hints: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...anceTips1.html)

As you refer to "fellow traders" it would be of value to understand if they had similar issues using the same (!) setup/workspace on prior NT versions.

I just asked about the versions, I know fellow traders, who are on 6.5.1000.2 and 6.5.1000.4,who experienced similar ninja/zenfire freeze at the same time this morning on volume spikes.

Thanks for feedback. This implies it's not an issue with 6.5.1000.4.

This leaves us with my recommendation below. I suggest ripping through the link below to see what could be done to reduce load on volume spike.

Hi Dierk,

I will go through the performance link you provided. But did zenfire support get back to you on this? I hardly had any problems with zenfire with the exact same setup/workpsace.

Yep, I already got a feedback. Basically nothing has changed with could cause a "freeze".

Also: volume goes up constantly these days. You suddenly may experience load issues where you didn't ever before using the same setup.

I am still facing significant freezes in Ninja on volume spikes with zenfire feed. I never faced such ninja freezes on volume spikes in my previous ninja versions, 6.5.1000.2 even on super volatile days.

Is there anyway,I can downgrade to 6.5.1000.2 ? Can you please give me a link to downloading the .2 version.
