Chart "Macroeconomic time series"

Is there also a possibility to plot the time series of GDP etc. in Ninjatrader and analyze them like a usual chart with indicators?

I'm not quite understanding.

What is GDP? Is this a stock? Is this some custom instrument that you would like to create?

Are you trying to chart Forex such as GBPUSD?

The chart has two axis, the price and the time. With just the time, there would be nothing to plot on the y and this wouldn't work.

GDP is the gross domestic product. I want to chart macroeconomic data like the gdp, inflation rate, unemployment rate and other with Ninjatrader.

Do you have a data source that provides you with the price of the Gross Domestic Product?

If you can get price and time stamps, that data can be imported into NinjaTrader as historical, or you can write a custom 3rd party application in C# that pushes that data to NinjaTrader in real-time.

But you would need to start with a source of that data.

This is not a connection that can be made in NinjaTrader.

You would need some way of getting data from this to NinjaTrader which may required a 3rd party application created to do so and push the data to NinjaTrader through the External Data Feed.

This would be outside of what can be supported by NinjaTrader, however, this thread will remain open for any community members that would like to assist.
