Entries/exits disappear during replay

I searched the forums but I couldn't find anything related to this problem. I also looked in the manual and nothing was mentioned. When I use the slider bar during market replay, all the entries and exits on the chart disappear. Also, no trades appear in the account performance section. This happened once and I was able to reconstruct my entries using the log file. Since then I've been taking screenshots before touching the slider bar.

The behavior you are experiencing is expected. If you switch to seeking the historical trades are processed differently. Historical trades do not persist in your logs when done via the Market Replay.

Thanks for the quick reply. What is the rationale for this? It is fairly irritating behavior.

The reason the Market Replay does not persist is because you can connect to different replays in any order you want. This makes it difficult to accumulate a running report of how your strategy is performing that makes any sense.
