Hi

I want to get an alert when ADX for the current bar is greater than the previous bar.

I am using a line chart based on close, ES 09 08 sim data.
I have set up a strategy that I expected to do that.
Then applied that strategy to a 1 min line chart.
Turned the trend up.
I can see the the ADX indicator on the chart increasing but I am not getting an alert.

Should I be getting an alert?

Did you program your strategy to send off alerts? Open the Alerts window to monitor this. You can also send off alerts via the Market Analyzer.

sorry, got my < and > mixed up on current and previous bars plus left the reset to 0. now it's working a treat.
