    Question about multiple brokers connectivity

Hi guys, I'm still trying to set up ninja trader correctly. Am I understanding this correctly?

    1. I have a IB account. IB charges me extra for a lot of services and data feeds (level 2 deep book, AMEX level 1, NASDAQ equites, NASDAQ total view etc.. ) I think I pay an extra 50 a month or so.

    2. but I have 20 bucks sitting in a TD Ameritrade account because data with them is free.

So, I could connect to the td ameritrade first, and then connect to the IB account second.

And trade on the IB account while also saving 50 bucks a month and getting the same data?

    Is that correct?

    Hello jws33,

    Thank you for your post.

Yes, just as you outlined, if you will connect to TD Ameritrade before connecting to your Interactive Brokers account TD Ameritrade will be used as the data source for all real-time and historical equity data.

More information about using multiple connections within NinjaTrader can be found here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...onnections.htm
