    F5 key (Compile)

    I have just to install the last version (6.5.1000.4) and the F5 key inside of the NinjaScript Editor doesn´t work.

    Greetings

    F5 works here as expected. Please make sure the editor form has the focus.

      Yes, of course , ( works all other keys (F1, F2, F4, ... ).
      The F5 key works in my other programs (IExplorer, etc) but not in NinjaScript Editor.

      If works in your pc then it will be a problem in mine.

      Greetings.

          I have closed ninja and reset windows and makes no difference. F2, F4, ... works but not F5.
          I don't know why
          Any incompatibility with other applications ? VisualStudio, maybe ?.

          Well then I will use the button ( F5 was very useful for me).

          Thanks

            Sorry, would not know what causes this. The editor code has not changes since several releases.

            - you could try F5 on chart (Reload NinjaScript). Does that work?
            - may be there is a SW installed on your machine with "traps" F5

              Can you check, in the Editor, can you right click and select "Compile" --> Does this work?

              If not, try pressing the Compile button in the Editor tool bar.

                - Yes, F5 works on chart.
                - sorry, but I don't know what is SW

                - Right click and "Compile" doesn´t work either. (others menus work fine)

                Thanks

                  SW = software

                  So you cannot compile at all right now with any of the available methods? Try running NinjaTrader by itself. Close all other applications.

                    Here is an idea:
                    - right click in editor->References
                    - do you somewhere see a reference to NinjaTrade.Custom.dll?
                    - if so, then please mark this reference and press Delete to remove it

                    Compile then should work.

                    Also: You should see some message in the logs that there was a erroneous reference.
