Any NT compatible brokers that support microlot Forex trading?

I'm wondering if any of the NT compatible brokers support microlot trading?

If not, is this already supported by the application in the event a compatible broker becomes available?

I'm not aware of a broker technology "microlot trading" so I guess the answer is "no".

Microlot trading is simply trading forex lots of 0.01. Its extremely important for martingale, anti-martingale and other money management systems.

I guess the only difference to NinjaTrader is an extra decimal place, hopefully there'll be a NT compatible broker in the future...

Not sure what a lot of 0.01 is.

Expressed in total units of the base currency:

        MBT supports 10K lot size
GAIN supports 100K and 10K lot size
Interactive Brokers supports 1 lot size

        In terms of price quotes:

        MBT quotes in 1/10 pips
GAIN quotes in either pips or 1/10 pips depending on your account
        IB quotes in 1/2 pips

A micro-lot would be 1k units of base currency (0.01 x $100,000 standard lot). An increasing number of brokers support it. While Interactive Brokers may have no minimun trade size, the $10,000 required acct minimum and low leverage defeat the purpose.

Using any type of strategy that doubles the lot size on either winners or losers, would exceed the GAIN maximun lot of size of 25 in only 4 trades, not to mention the increased margin requirements...

          IBFX

What is the Minimum Trade Size?
Typically the standard minimum transaction size in the FX market is 1 lot, or 100,000 of the base currency, with a minimum margin deposit of 1%. For example, a US $100,000 position would require an initial margin deposit of US $1,000. IBFX also offers the option of trading ‘micro lots’, lot sizes that can be as small as .01 or 1% of either a standard or mini lot.

While Interactive Brokers may have no minimun trade size
IB requires 25,000 USD trade size as their minimum lot size, which in MT4 turns to be 2.5 mini lot size. For EUR, 18,000 EUR.

MBT allows 1,000.00. NT supports it via the workspace naming/acct/trade size.

Thanks for pointing that out. You're right MBTrading does support microlot trading.

Unfortunately though, along with Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Nigeria, Iraq, North Korea, Sudan and Syria the evil empire of Canada is on their restricted country list, so I won't be able to open an account!

GAIN/Forex.com now support microlot trading with MetaTrader, perhaps they can be persuaded to add support for NinjaTrader as well...

EW I don't know if you're still interested but NT is free for live trading at Gain:

I've been using GAIN/Forex.com since the start. Overall I've been satisfied.

GAIN/Forex.com recently introduced microlot trading for MetaTrader and I asked them if they planned to support it for NT and they said they had no plans.

I really hope they do, because it would be much easier to move the decimal in the lot size than it would be in my account size.

Are you able to enter quantities of .01M?
