Chart ruler ''y'' value not correct?

i have been using the chart ruler with no problems for a long long time.

the ''Y'' value has always been exactly correct, but now ... all of a sudden it is way off wrong?

any thoughts and/or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Does the Ruler object report the Y value incorrectly each time you apply a new Ruler object?

Could it be the issue is limited to a certain chart? If you create a brand new chart and test the Ruler object, does it report accurate Y-values that report the difference between the first and second anchor point.

Does it make a difference if you select a different instrument in the chart and then apply a new Ruler object?

it appears that multiple rulers on the same chart is a problem ... i didn't see the other ruler at the other end of the chart, out of sight.

I do not see the issue on my end when I use multiple Ruler objects in a chart.

Are you able to reproduce the issue consistently? Do you experience the issue in a brand new chart?

Do you have any 3rd party add-ons or custom created indicators loaded in the chart? If so, please test a new chart without indicators or add-ons (set 'Load the following Chart Template' to <None>).

yes, i do have a 3rd party indicator on the chart. however i am short on time so cannot investigate further. the problem has disappeared for now so i will press on.

if the problem reappears i will readdress the issue with you guys.
