capital per trade

Hi everyone ,
i'm a beginner doing virtual ninjatrader. The question is :
When placing a trade on the s and p what capital does 1 trade represent. For example
I place a trade and it goes up 4 pips , the account balance shows i have made $ 12.50 per pip so a total of $ 50.
But it doesn' t show how much i have to trade in $ to get that amount. So how much would i have to invest per trade to get this $ 12.50 per pip.

Hello EVERTON,

You would submit an order with a quantity of 1, so it will calculate $12.50 per tick. I assume you refer to the ES futures.

Yes , the futures. I get the quantity bit 1 trade but how much does that represent in money , how much money do i have to invest in the trade to get $ 12.50 per pip.

You trade the Sim101 account which you can setup under Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Simulator-tab. Please see the link below under 'How the Margin parameters impact Account values' (at the bottom) for more information.
