    Vendor Indicators are not working

    Hi there,

I am running Ninjatrader 7 in Virtualbox. Everything runs fine (albeit a bit slower), except I get a message saying ""You don't have a valid license for indicator ''. Please
    contact
for a license for your machine ID
    "

I am able to connect to Kinetick (Free EOD).

Of course I consulted with the vendor, vendor says all 3rd party licensing has been granted (everything is ok his side), Vendor further suggested that I consult Ninjatrader for help.

I submitted the code in the 3rd party licensing section..

    So what to do?

    Thanks.

    Hello teenagemutantNT,

When you mention "I submitted the code in the 3rd party licensing section.." does this actually mean that you have clicked Help -> 3rd Party Licensing... and typed the Vendor name and added a User defined ID that was created by you?

If so, did you send the User defined ID along with your machine ID to the vendor?

        Hi MarkGraem and teenagemutantNT,

If you are certain that you have provided the vendor with the User defined ID please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that we may collect information from you and check the status of the vendor license.

Hi thank you for the providing platform support email contact information.

They are asking me for my "module" and "script" name, what is that? The name of the indicator? and what is the script name?

            Thanks,

            TMNT

              Hello TMNT,

This information will be in the error message that results from the NinjaTrader Vendor Licensing.

The error window popup will have the vendor name and the module name and should also contain their email address.

The name of the script is the name of the indicator. An indicator (and also a strategy, bar type, or chart style) is a script (specifically a NinjaScript).
