Is anyone aware of a source for historical stock data for the purposes of backtesting, or must I build my own data bank by taking each day's real-time data and recording for market replay?

Thank you for your post.
Historical data and market replay data are fundamentally different types of data. Since I'm a bit unclear as to which type of data you need I wanted to address both types of data.
Historical data for stocks can be downloaded from providers like BarChart, eSignal, IQ Feed, Interactive Brokers, Kinetick, MB Trading and TD Ameritrade. At this time, there is no source which offers Market Replay data for stocks. Any stock market replay data would need to be recorded in real-time.KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service
