Ninjatrader - Interactive Brokers connection able to support Renko and Range Bars?

Hi,

Please can you advise if the Interactive Brokers connection is able to support the charting of Renko Bars and Range Bars on Ninjatrader?

Thank you for your post.

Within NinjaTrader, range and renko bars are built using historical tick data. Unfortunately, Interactive Brokers does not offer historical tick data within NinjaTrader and as a result it would not be possible to backfill your range and renko charts with historical data.

If this data is critical to you, a secondary data connection could be used to access historical tick data while maintaining connection to the Interactive Brokers account.
