Multi-broker clarification

Dear Support,

Have got all info needed from support forum I believe, so just wanted to put it all together into one message here to confirm my understanding.

Currently have NT7, Kinetick data, and IB broker. All running Ok.

Want to add second broker account - on same PC - to allow trading of ES swing trades (eg long), while trading shorts (intraday/scalps/hedging) at same time when needed.

To do this, I can do as follows:

1. Open NT Broker for second account.
2. Buy NT Multi-broker license.
3. Check Kinetick connection still 'Connect on startup'.
4. IB and NTBroker connect after Kinetick.
5. Setup separate charts for IB and NTBroker.
6. Trade ES independently in each chart window as needed.
Also,
7. Will use notebook PC for second copy of all, to trade when away from main desktop PC, ie only one copy of NT running at same time.

Can you please confirm above understanding is correct before I apply for NT Broker account and buy NT multi-broker upgrade.

Hello Richard,

Yes, you are correct in understanding. The multi broker license key allows you to connect to Interactive Brokers and your NinjaTrader brokerage account as well as Kinetick. The account selected in ChartTrader is where the orders will be sent to.

You can run NinjaTrader on your laptop as long as you do not trade live from 2 machines simultaneously.
