Data export and reimport

I'm trying to export data 10-Yr Treasury futures data (ZN 06-08) from one NT platform and load it onto another.

I'm not able to import the NT generated data. The error in the Log reads: Format error in line 1: Input string was not in a correct format: '20080417 000002;116'215.25'

Since this data was exported from NT I don't understand why it can't be imported into NT. Perhaps this is due to the single quote ' convention used in Treasury price data.

How can I import this data back into NT?

Hello Lou,

Can you please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed. You can check this under Help-->About. When I export minute data for the ZN 06-08 the data is listed as below:

20080422 000100;116.421875;116.421875;116.421875;116.421875 ;1

Subsequently, it will import successfull. Most likely, the single quote is causing the issue on your end.

Please try exporting the data once more and check if the text file lists the data in the same format as above.

If not, please also tell me your data feed provider as well as the NinjaTrader version.

I'm using the TTFIX data feed and NT 6.5.1000.3. The ZN data is exported with the single quote, ' , regardless of whether it is tick or minute data.

Please install latest 6.5.1000.4 which we just released. It's available on the regular download page.
