Hello.

Is there a way I can have a ray drawn on a chart remain at the same relative level once rollover occurs? I have tried locking it and keeping it 'unlocked', but neither seems to work.

Are you referring to the session break or the rollover from one futures contract to another?

Hello,
Drawing objects are applied for the instrument + expiry month. If you apply a drawing object in an ES 12-15 chart, it should not show up in the ES 03-16 chart.
I have submitted a feature request on this subject for consideration to be implemented in future versions of NinjaTrader.
If we can be of any other assistance please let us know.

Just so I know we are on the same page...

I had a ray drawn on a 2-16 contract to show me a gap. I rolled it over to 4-16, and the ray did not adjust upwardly with the gap. I was wondering if there is a way to keep the ray on that specific day and price level after merge/backadjusting?

Hello,
There is not a way to rollover drawing objects with an instrument rollover. It is expected that the drawing objects disappear. If you do see that the drawing objects still appear it would not be expected that they would adjust their values.
