Automated Trading from MA?

Hello, i´m a new user and trying to find out if it is possible to run automated trading from the markt analyzer. P.e. I have a list of 50 stocks, do a ranking of the % change and buy the 3 strongest stocks and sell the 3 weakest stocks at a certain time.

Is it possible to backtest kind of this strategy?

You can't run this type of strategy from the Market Analyzer, but you can technically run it from any strategy outlet. To program it you will need to run a multi-instrument strategy and submit orders accordingly to the proper instrument. You will also need a fast data feed that will let you process tick data on all 50 instruments at the same time.

Thank you for answering so quickly! What do you mean with strategy outlet (my english is not the very best...) - a NT-strategy or an extern solution with excel or something like this?

Means, you could try run a multi series strategy. However, running a 50 series strategy might not be as fast as you wanted it to be.

You would need to run some tests on your own. See e.g. SampleMultiInstrument strategy and related docs for how to do that.
