GAIN as a backup?

Greetings,

I'm using EFX/MB Trading as my forex broker. Since the connection may (and does) from time-to-time go "down", I thought about using the GAIN connection as a "backup" when MBT is offline.

When I attempt to start the GAIN connection (after connecting to MBT) I get the following message:

"You must connect to GAIN first and MB Trading second. Be aware you should not trade FX through GAIN and MBT during the same NT session since you may experience unexpected behaviour due to the uncentralized nature of uncentralized FX price quotes"...

Is it not possible to simply use GAIN as a secondary backup connection if/when the MBT feed is lost?

Unfortunately you will not be able to use Gain as a backup because MB Trading Supports sub pips and Gain does not at this time.

Thanks for the reply. What if I were to disable the subpips option?

It will not let you connect to both at the same time even if you uncheck this option.

In addition the Gain data is free for Demo and not intended for live trading to another broker.
