why ninja dont calculate pnl in realtime??

Hi, can you please explain why ninja not calculating pnl in realtime in chart trader? I have unchecked the "use last price for pnl".
It should calculate based on bid/ask right?

If I'm not mistaken Ninja calculate the chart trader pnl ONLY when the traded price change, how do i make it calculate based on the bid/ask change?
please help

If the option "Use last price for PnL" is unchecked, the bid is used to calculate PnL for long positions and the ask is used to calculate PnL for short positions.

I tested it on my end and it worked as expected. Please tell me your data feed and what instrument is selected in the chart.

datafeed is IB, problem is pnl not updating realtime when bid/ask changed, what should I do?

I tested the PnL in ChartTrader while connected to IB on my end and it worked as expected.

Hi,
this is really frustrating, i tried uninstalling NT, clear browser cache & cookies, reinstall, but still pnl is not updating realtime based on bid/ask

example: i buy @10 when bid/ask 9/10, when the bid/ask change to 5/6 the pnl not calculating the change of bid/ask realtime, let's say sometimes it updates in 4 second. i even have the "show bid ask" indicator, calculate on bar close=false, the indicator also dont update in realtime.

What should i do please help, sometimes i trade under 1 minute, this is really very important to have pnl update in realtime.

NT seems to lag very long. Is this a bug?
Data feed is IB, every instrument behave the same. Any solution please?

I tried using zenfire feed, still the pnl is not calculating realtime

To clarify, do you mean the PnL displayed in the chart trader control on the right side of the chart or the PnL displayed on the left side of the position line on the actual chart?

both of them are the same, both of them are lagging.

What are you using for reference in determining the PnL is not up to date? If there is a delay how much of a delay are you experiencing?

my reference is this:
when i buy at 10 when the b/a is 9/10 then the time order executed the pnl is -1,
but after that when the b/a change to 12/13 the pnl not updating to +2, sometimes it updates about 4 seconds, sometimes it updates when there is a new traded price coming, sometimes not updating at all, please check the QM instrument.

Correct, unrealized PnL is (re)calculated as market data comes in. If there is no market data coming in, then unrealized PnL would not be updated.

Yes, sorry for the delay. If you drive PnL off of last, PnL will update on the chart in sync. If you drive via the bid/ask, it will only update as last price changes. This is a current limitation.
