mini-DAX

I want to trade mini-DAX future on Interactive Brokers. They indicate I need to use DAX symbol and multiplier 5 (instead of 25 for regular future). How do I enter this in instrument manager (so I can develop strategy)?

First please close NinjaTrader and upgrade to version 7.0.0.1000.31 at the link below:

Next please open NinjaTrader and reset the instruments with the steps provided below:

• Tools->Options->Data tab
• Reset Instruments
• Restart NinjaTrader

Next please use the steps provided below to disable FDAX and enable FDXM:

• Tools->Instrument Manager
• Select FDAX->Edit
• Misc tab
• Change Interactive Brokers mapping to DAX-DISABLED|||25
• Click Ok
• Select FDXM->Edit
• Misc tab
• Change Interactive Brokers mapping to DAX|||5
• Click Ok
• Add FDXM 03-16 to your Default instrument list
• Click OK

Hello support... reading this post I cannot understand some things.
Seems that with this new "mandatory" upgrade ( .31) nothing has changed about management of DAX and Mini-DAX with IB. We still have no way to trade both instrument in the same time... we still have to modify instrument settings manually to enable and disable them for ours needs.
So, I'm asking what means this in the release notes :

"Added instrument mapping concept allowing you to toggle support for instruments where IB uses the same root symbol (e.g. NT symbols 'FDAX' & 'FDXM' referencing IB symbol 'DAX')"

And in any case, will we have sooner or later th possibility to trade DAX and Mini-DAX in the same time with ninjatrader version 7.x and IB?

Correct the mapping will still need to be changed manually and both instruments cannot be traded at the same time when connected to IB. Our development team is currently aware of this limitation however I do not have a date of when this will be resolved.
